Loxit is designed to be simple. Add thoughts, check them off when done, and free your mind. Here's how to get the most out of it.
Quick Access Setup
Capture thoughts instantly from anywhere on your iPhone:
Add to Lock Screen
- Long-press your Lock Screen
- Tap Customize
- Select Lock Screen
- Tap Add Control (bottom of screen)
- Search for and add Loxit
Add to Control Center
- Open Settings → Control Center
- Scroll down to find Loxit
- Tap + to add
Or: Swipe down to open Control Center, tap +, and add Loxit directly.
Home Screen Quick Action
- Long-press the Loxit app icon on your Home Screen
- Tap "Remember..." to add a new item instantly
Tip: For the fastest capture, add Loxit to your Lock Screen. You can add a thought without even unlocking your phone.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add a new item?
Tap the + button in the top right corner of the app, or use any of the quick access methods above (Lock Screen, Control Center, or Home Screen long-press).
How do I mark an item as complete?
Tap the circle next to any item to mark it as complete. Tap again to undo.
How do I delete an item?
Swipe left on any item and tap Delete, or swipe all the way left for a quick delete.
How do I delete all completed items?
In the Completed section, tap Clear All to remove all completed items at once.
Is my data backed up?
Loxit stores all data locally on your device. If you have iCloud Backup enabled for your iPhone, your Loxit data will be included in your device backup. We do not have separate cloud sync.
Can I sync between devices?
Currently, Loxit is designed as a single-device app with no cloud sync. This is intentional to keep your data private and the app simple. Your data stays on your device only.
Why can't I see Loxit in Control Center options?
Control Center widgets require iOS 18 or later. Make sure your iPhone is updated to iOS 18+. If you've just installed the app, try restarting your iPhone.
The widget isn't updating. What should I do?
Widgets refresh periodically to save battery. Try opening the main app—this triggers an immediate widget refresh. If issues persist, remove and re-add the widget.
Is my data private?
Yes. Loxit collects no personal data, has no analytics, and stores everything locally on your device. We never see your reminders. See our Privacy Policy for details.
